Questions about bus card recharge

The ones we get most often — and honest answers.

How do I top up my Hafilat card here?

Head to Recharge, type the 10-digit card number, choose an amount (AED 5 minimum), and confirm the payment. No account, no long form.

How long does the top-up take to appear?

Same working day for requests submitted Sunday–Thursday 09:00–18:00 Gulf Standard Time. Late-evening, Friday and Saturday requests are typically applied the next working morning. If you plan to travel early, top up in advance.

What payment methods do you accept?

Standard debit and credit cards issued in AED. Card details are entered on the secure payment page. We never see the full card number or CVV.

Any fees or limits?

Minimum AED 5 per transaction, maximum AED 500. A small fixed service fee is shown before you confirm — no hidden charges after payment.

Payment went through but the balance didn't update. What now?

Send us the card number and payment reference through Contacts or by email. We check the queue manually and re-submit the recharge if it did not reach the transit system.

Is it safe to enter card details?

Card data is submitted on a licensed payment page over an encrypted connection. Our servers do not receive full card numbers or CVV codes. See our security page for detail.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, when a top-up cannot be applied to the card and cannot be re-submitted. See the refund policy for exact rules.

How do I contact support?

By phone +971 52 304 5772, on WhatsApp, by email info@capitalbusreload.org, or through the form on Contacts.
